Plain sight

Sometimes we can’t see what lies directly before our eyes. But often all it takes is for us to step a little closer and look past the things we are so used to seeing that we’ve stopped paying them attention.

There lies the unseen past, hidden away in plain sight. Marginalised by a time that wants to move ahead to a future built on other things, other values,… never realising that it will always stand in the stand in the shadow of its own origin. Never acknowledging that it is inevitable. Nor that that very fact is our greatest blessing…

… because it will forever ensure a way for us to find a road back home…
